Membership in the Detroit Model Railroad Club is open to anyone interested in model railroading. No experience is required. You can get all the experience you will need by helping to build and operate one of the largest model railroads in the country. If you have never worked on a model railroad, we can teach you everything you need to know about tracklaying, scenery, electrical work, building rolling stock and train operations. If you have some experience in these areas, you may be able to show us a few things.
